I. Position: One Full-Time Faculty (Assistant Professor or higher ranks)
II. Qualifications: Beginning faculty should possess a doctoral degree, while experienced faculty should also meet one of the following qualifications besides a doctoral degree: 1. Being the first author or corresponding author in at least TWO academic journal papers published in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, and A&HCI journals, or journals indexed in 2016 new THCI (original THCI Core) or SCOPUS, in the recent THREE years. 2. Being the principal investigator for at least TWO research projects of Ministry of Science and Technology (original National Science Council) in the recent THREE years. 3. Possessing at least ONE domestic or foreign invention patent or awards from international competition annually in the recent THREE years. 4. Being the principal investigator for at least ONE project in Technology Development Program for Academia (學界開發產業技術計畫), A+ Industrial Innovation R&D Program (業界科專計畫) or Industry-Academia Cooperation Program (產學合作計畫) in the recent THREE years, with specific achievements for review. 5. Possessing extensive experience in industries with specific achievements for review (applicable to professional technical experts). ※The aforementioned journal papers and research projects of Ministry of Science and Technology (original National Science Council) can be recognized against each other. ※Applicants with the highest degree offered by National Taiwan Normal University, should have at least TWO years full-time relevant teaching or research experience in other public or private colleges, universities or academic institutes after obtaining the highest degree.

IV. Expertise: 1. Technology and Engineering Education: Robotics Education in Elementary and Secondary Schools. Courses to be taught: Mechatronics Practice, Mechanical Design, etc. 2. Technology and Engineering Education: Applied Information Technology. Courses to be taught: Studies in Trends in Network Technology, Studies in Human-Computer Interaction, etc. 3. Human Resource: eHRD. Courses to be taught: teaching Special Topics in Organizational Development, Special Topics in Industrial Policy and Human Resource Development etc.

Copies of certificates of academic qualifications (For foreign academic qualifications, please also attach copies of foreign academic certificates and transcripts verified by R.O.C. embassies and missions abroad). 3. A list of research projects of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in the recent THREE years (Printed copies from the search page on MOST website is acceptable). 2 4. A list of research findings and related publications (Please list the names of the journals published and IF value in details, and specify if the academic journals are indexed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&HCI or THCI Core). 5. TWO recommendation letters on morality, ethics, interpersonal relationship, work or learning attitudes. 6. Representative works in the recent FIVE years, master’s and doctoral dissertations. 7. Other supporting documents (Example: teaching and service certificates).

The employed faculty should pass the evaluation in the second semester after three years of service at NTNU (i.e. the 7th semester), and complete the promotion within six years.
